About RCI Americas
Redemption Chaplaincy International Americas equips Christians for responsible pastoral and spiritual support wherever people may be separated from traditional church care.
Our mission
RCI Americas supports the formation of chaplains who can offer pastoral care, spiritual encouragement, professional support, fellowship, and a ministry of healing, sustaining, and guiding.
RCI Americas is a Christian chaplaincy organization operating within RCCG Americas. That relationship grounds the ministry in a living church community while chaplains serve responsibly beyond conventional congregational settings.
Our work is grounded in the conviction that every person bears God-given dignity and is best understood as a whole person—with physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual dimensions that affect one another.
We seek to meet people where they are, listen before speaking, and respond with compassion, grace, accountability, and respect.

These principles shape how RCI Americas understands people, ministry, formation, and service.
Each person is unique, relational, and worthy of care that affirms their value rather than reducing them to a problem or circumstance.
Chaplaincy goes toward people in moments and places where ordinary pastoral access may be limited.
Spiritual care recognizes the connection between physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
Responsible care begins with dialogue, attentive listening, and sensitivity—not a one-sided monologue.
Training, ethical awareness, discipline, and clear responsibility help chaplains serve faithfully and safely.
People are formed and sustained in community; chaplaincy therefore works through trustworthy relationships and responsible partnership.
“A bridge of care when people are separated from traditional pastoral support.”
Our calling
Chaplains may serve in settings such as hospitals, care environments, correctional institutions, community programs, workplaces, or moments of public need. The setting changes; the calling to responsible Christian care does not.
RCI chaplains serve as pastoral caregivers, counsellors, and Christian ministers. They do not replace licensed professionals or public authorities, and the RCI identity does not confer governmental or law-enforcement powers.
